Ads on both sides will appeal to the core supporters anyway and be thought of as dumb or inaccurate or off-point to the hard-core opponents.

The only thing that matters is: Does an ad cause an undecided voter to go, “Hmmmm….”?

Will this ad cause an undecided swing voter (a “persuadable” voter) think to themself, “That does it! If Romney hides his tax returns, then I’m going to ignore our national debt and the lousy economy and the fact that my house has lost 25% of its market vale and vote for Obama!”

Will this ad change those minds? That’s the only way to evaluate a political ad.

I’m not sure what the point of this nonsense is. I don’t care about Romney’s tax returns. So he’s rich and he’s smart and he has an army of tax attorneys and accountants at his disposal — he’s probably paid the lowest possible tax legally allowed — and he should.
I’m so over this issue. It’s like the “Romney outspent me” era of the GOP Primary.

Thanks for an honest and not ideological view of this non issue.

Again. Mitt should agree to release ALL tax years when Obama agrees to lift executive order of ALL Fast and Furious documents.

We are still waiting for Obama to release all of his records.  This ad ignores the truth.
