Good news abounds for the Romney campaign heading into the weekend.

First, is Bill Clinton secretly on Mitt’s side? If not, Obama may have the same issues with Billy-boy as Mitt has with The Donald: saying stupid stuff. Clinton called Romney’s business record while working at Bain “sterling.” Yes, this is the very same business career that the Obama team has been blasting away at for the last several weeks.

Rasmussen’s latest Ohio poll has given Romney his first lead in the Buckeye State since becoming the presumptive nominee. Ohio is of course one the critical battleground states that Romney will need to wrest away from the President’s electoral college map of 2008.

And finally, the single issue that is most likely to give Romney a chance in November is the economy, and the latest jobs report will further move the pin.

Have a good weekend!
