The Emergency Committee for Israel has released a trailer for the soon to be released 30 minutes video: Daylight: The Story of Obama and Israel.

According to Josh Rogin (Foreign Policy, The Washington Post) the video “cuts together clips of Obama quotes and outside commentary to put forth the narrative that Obama has made statements and taken actions as president that have put him out of step with the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his supporters.”

Will this deepen the crack in Obama’s DNC-Jewish voter alliance?

GASP! A President of one country failing to completely adhere to the wishes of another? You’d think the US was a sovereign nation or something. The nerve of that man!

I really don’t know, where this strong affection to this fascist regime in Israel stems from. But everbody who claims that Obama is “anti-Israel” shall be remembered that he did not support the claim of the Palestinians at the UN to be accepted as a state. A claim that seems to be more than justified and that – with the exception of Israel and the US – almost every member of the UN supported.

God the Emergency Committee for Israel is one of the sleaziest groups in existence. So I rate this a 0.

This will have no effect, quite unfortunately. President Obama will own the Jewish vote in November.

Maybe you are right.  But there’s that little election to replace Anthony Weener when a Republican elderly gentile retired businessman defeated a rising Jewish Democrat. Don’t I remember that frustration with Obomb was a major reason in that heavily Jewish Democrat district went Republican for the first time in many decades?  Wouldn’t that indicate that even New York Jewish voters can be educated?  Hope springs eternal!

Whether nor not this is a “sleazy” group or not (an unsubstantiated, unproved claim, therefore the statement might be rated a ‘0’), these are factual clips, not out of context, but instead, representative of this Admin’s Israel policy.

        I don’t expect many–if
any–of you to watch this in its entirety.
        .

        — It’s 30 minutes long and
most of you don’t have that kind of time.
        .

–Many of you will reject it
immediately out of hand, as being stereotypically anti-Obama, and therefore you
        won’t take it seriously.
        .

It’s not being presented by me for the cliched,
desperate, in-the-end-nonsensical reason of “no self-respecting American Jew
should ever vote for Obama because he treats Israel badly.”
        .

        American Jews
are amazingly liberal, and their ability for intellectual rationalization of
their positions vis-a-vis Israel and Obama is beyond my ability to describe.
They probably still break for Obama 85-15 at worst, instead of the usual 90-10.
        .

It’s being sent to you for
the reason that it illustrates that every self-respecting humanitarian of any
religious background (or none) should question their blind support for Obama
because of his deleterious stances and actions towards Israel–our best ally in
the Middle East, a humanitarian, democratically-free state, and our best partner
for a counterbalance to Iran and the destabilizing chaos they (Iran) could
introduce to the world for years to come.
        .

        Obama’s strategy and policy
towards Israel and the potentially catastrophic consequences that could result
from his policies should be enough to give you pause—regardless of whether or
not you’re Jewish, and regardless of how much you like $5.00 gasoline, how much
you like 8% unemployment, how much you enjoy the demonization of successful,
job-creating, private-sector entrepreneurs, or how much you agree with the
Government mandating free contraceptives regardless of your religious
        beliefs.
        .

You may love every one of those domestic Obama policies, but
the potential negative consequences of his Israel policies should trouble every thinking,
        intellectually-honest individual.

Bollocks. Some of us who think actually believe that the continued genocide against the Palestinians is a crime. You conservatives want Palestinians wiped out. I want Israel gone. And I assure you, I thought about that extensively, especially while I was witnessing Israel’s villainy first hand.
