Edit: Newt Gingrich’s Super PAC “documentary” King of Bain earns four Pinocchios from the Washington Post.

President Obama is “asking” for a $1.2 trillion increase to the national debt ceiling. Of course, he doesn’t actually have to ask since the “compromise” law signed last fall when we approached the debt ceiling made it nearly impossible for Congress to stop the Executive Office from raising the ceiling at will.

Conservatives in the US outnumber liberals nearly two to one. Meanwhile, Mitt Romney has the largest lead he has every held in national polling of the Republican contenders, 19 points ahead of second-place Newt Gingrich. Romney is also 15.5 points ahead of the nearly competitor in the latest PD Composite.

Finally, President Obama once blamed ATMs for killing jobs. Five years from now, will he also complain that this innovation destroyed jobs in the wheel chair industry?
