Momentum is certainly in Mitt Romney’s side, as he is up 8 points in the past week while Rick Santorum is down nearly 4 points and Newt Gingrich is also down just over 4 points. The other candidates have remained relatively steady.

The air of inevitability continues for Romney as he has successful weathered every ABR candidate’s rise. Meanwhile, Ron Paul continues to hang around, not compromising his principles like Gingrich and Rick Perry to the point where Jon Stewart takes them apart.

If the “conservative” choices continue to tear down Bain Capital for its dealings in the free market, aren’t they no longer acting conservative? At that point, what do they have on Romney?
