Rick Santorum may have leveled off, after briefly taking the lead in the PD Composite. Meanwhile, Mitt Romney appears to have weathered the storm of the latest ABR.

After appearing to have briefly streadied the ship and leveled off in the low 30s, Newt Gingrich’s slide has continued, coinciding with Santorum’s cataclysmic rise. The other candidates have remained relatively consistent throughout the past month.

It is interesting to note the ABR trends. First it was Rick Perry, then Herman Cain, then Gingrich, and now Santorum. All crossed paths in the 20-25 percent range. Santorum may end up being the benefactor of time and circumstance, as his “turn” is here while the primary voting is underway.
