Tim Pawlenty, the first moderately significant candidate to drop out of the race, has endorsed Mitt Romney on “Fox and Friends” this morning.

According to Politico, Pawlenty lauded Romney’s “leadership ability and the depth and scope of [his] private-sector experience.”

Pawlenty went on to say: “I believe he’s going to be our party’s nominee,” and predicted Romney to be a “transformational and great president.”
