Humorous piece from Daily Caller:
President Obama: No View of Chelsea’s wedding
By Myra Adams | Published: 10:01 AM 07/30/2010
History was made on The View this week and it wasn’t just that Barack Obama was the first sitting president to appear on what I consider the women’s weekday version of Meet the Press.
Real history was made because our current president admitted in front of millions that he was dissed by a former president and his own Secretary of State.
How humiliating was it for Obama when asked on The View if he was going to The Royal Chelsea Wedding — and to have to admit that he was NOT INVITED?

Perhaps one of the reasons I love golf so much is because, through Boy Scouting, I became comfortable being alone out in the woods. I also learned some other things that apply to golf and, more importantly, life. Please review the Boy Scout Oath and the Law:
Scout Oath (or Promise)
On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.

We are less than 100 days from the 2010 mid-terms. I know you’re all on pins and needles about it! I’m sure November 3rd, the day after the election, all the of the talking heads will REALLY start speculating who will run in the 2012 election for President, and we can pin and needle some more. I’m actually waiting to see who will be crazy enough to announce that day that they are running for POTUS. Insanity all around, especially when there is a White House on the line. Read more
If they make decisions like bringing the cast from “Jersey Shore” to ring the opening bell, you have to wonder that maybe everything is their fault after all.
“Gorilla juiceheads” fist-pumped on the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday morning as the cast of “Jersey Shore” kicked off trading in one of the more anticipated opening bell ceremonies in some time.
Traders on the increasingly quiet floor said it was one of the most crowded days in years as the deeply tanned cast of the MTV hit rang the bell and stayed to sign autographs amid a crush of onlookers and a flood of media.
Listen to Herman Cain’s speech at the Right Online conference. The more I hear this man the more I want him to run.
If you only read one political piece today, make it this one from the Weekly Standard. It is, in a word, brilliant.
The Unpresidential President
Barack Obama has managed a rare feat: The longer he holds office, the more he diminishes in stature.

From charisma to populism—this is the slippery slope down which Barack Obama has been sliding over the past two years. In June 2008, Obama the candidate described his nomination as “the moment when .??.??. our planet began to heal.” In June 2010, Obama the president promised his partisans he would find an “ass to kick.”
The Political climate in America has reached a frenzied pace equal to that of a hurricane hitting the Gulf oil spill. The major players run in different directions trying “fixes” for the problem without stopping to think first. They gleefully vilify the opposing side, gaining as much public support for their own solutions/agendas as possible, without any real affect on the issue at hand. And while political oil taints the public ocean, the public is frozen; feeling the immobilizing affects of each new accusation, and never knowing to whom to throw their support.

I don’t know how Harry Reid sleeps at night. He is either a liar or a moron. Yesterday he gave his insightful commentary on the insolvent social security system:
Fear tactics of those who say Social Security is going broke. It’s not. . . . Social Security is the most successful social program in the history of the world.
Yeah, if you call a government-sanctioned ponzi scheme “successful”, I suppose so.
Truly stunning numbers.
TRENDING: Poll: Only 4 in 10 say Obama deserves re-election

From CNN Deputy Political Director Paul Steinhauser
A new poll released Wednesday indicates that 48 percent of the public thinks Obama doesn’t deserve a second term in office.
Washington (CNN) – Nearly half of all Americans think President Barack Obama does not deserve re-election in 2012, according to a new national poll.
A Quinnipiac University survey released Wednesday indicates that 48 percent of the public thinks Obama doesn’t deserve a second term in office, with four in ten saying he does deserve to be re-elected. By a 52 to 34 percent margin, Independent voters say the president doesn’t deserve re-election.

Sounds like the work of a dictator to me…
American citizens are targeted for killings far away from any battlefield, based exclusively on unchecked accusations by the Executive Branch that they’re involved in Terrorism.
..Obama had continued Bush’s policy (which Bush never actually implemented) of having the Joint Chiefs of Staff compile “hit lists” of Americans..
Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, Adm. Dennis Blair, acknowledged in Congressional testimony that the administration reserves the “right” to carry out such assassinations.

I have been and will continue to be critical of the Tea Party for the main reason that I don’t think the Tea Party knows what is wants, other than lower taxes and to trash anyone that is remotely opposed to it. But I think they finally got one right today, when they banished a moron.
The latest soap opera drama sees the National Tea Party Federation giving the ole’ heave ho to Mark Williams, a conservative talk show host that has, in this blogger’s opinion, become a disgrace to anyone who calls themselves a Republican. He was booted for a “satirical” letter to Abraham Lincoln that has been admonished across the board.
Among William’s greatest hits is his description of a mosque in New York as a place for “terrorists to worship their monkey god.”
Real classy there Mark.

Yesterday in a press release from his “civil rights” group, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, the “Reverend” Jesse Jackson said this about Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert:
He speaks as an owner of LeBron and not the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers. His feelings of betrayal personify a slave master mentality. He sees LeBron as a runaway slave. This is an owner employee relationship — between business partners — and LeBron honored his contract.
Apparently in America, according to Jesse Jackson, it is no longer acceptable for a white business owner to make negative comments toward his former black employees (though what Gilbert said was stupid).
Has Jesse Jackson no shame? Is there anything career race-baiters such as he will not attempt to exploit?
