Really? I hope this isn’t the best he’s got. I was actually a little embarrassed for him watching this “red meat” line. Yikes.

    The joke fell flat and he didn’t do well at engaging the audience, but he did give a very substantive speech. From a content perspective, he was far better than Romney.

    Amen, Troy. It looked rehearsed, but badly. There were a few hoots and laughs, but I bet you one third place Iowa showing that most of those hoots and laughs were AT him, not WITH him.

    You would think that knowing that this should be the jumping off point for a 2012 campaign you would be more prepared. I think he needs to spend more time at Toastmasters.
