Ron Paul wins! He is THE true conservative. The old school CPAC attendees are trying to explain away Paul’s win, saying, “We didn’t know where to vote.” The truth is, their lack of voting in this strawpoll demonstrates a microcosm of the greater problem. The establishment GOP is out of touch with the real conservatives of this great nation, and the little energy and lip service they do muster does not compare with the genuine passion and fresh interest we have in defending our personal liberties and preserving our Constitutional Republic!

This contest is ALL about true vs. false conservatism.

“The truth is, their lack of voting in this strawpoll demonstrates a microcosm of the greater problem.”

If presenting a clear conservative political voice were really important to you, then participation in this straw poll would be among the top things on your to-do list at an event like this.

“Didn’t know where to vote.” That is the best excuse yet considering there were several tables to vote at. They were set up at the only entrance to the high traffic exhibit hall and in front of one of the ballrooms. At registration people were reminded to vote. And there were tons of people standing around giving directions. It was easier than voting in a primary.
