In the early days of the Global War on Terror, the boys with the nine-inch foreheads laboring deep in the bowels of the Pentagon came up with an idea for a computer driven algorithm which would comb through terabytes of open source information searching for patterns which might point to terrorist elements operating in the United States. To the best of my knowledge, the program was never implemented because privacy advocates gave birth to a herd of cattle when vague details of the program came to light.

Or so I’m told.

Well, today it turns out that Team Obama is calling out the “Yes We Can” Obama-bots in an effort to keep track of those who dare – privately or publicly – to oppose The One in his effort to socialize this nation’s health care system.

No. I am not making this up. Stop calling me a conspiracy nut. For the record, I’m not wearing my tin-foil hat. Want proof? This comes direct from the official White House website:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov. (Emphasis Added)

If anything like this had ever been posted to the W Administration White House site, the ACLU, Moveon.org, and the Code Pink (non) babes would have stormed the White House gates and demanded Dick Cheney’s head on a pike.

Personally, I see plenty fishy with Team Obama’s heath care “plan”. Where do I report that?

Beware, dear reader, of the mind-numbed Obama-bots reading your email, listening to your conversations, and searching through your trash. They’re fairly easy to spot – you can usually hear them muttering “Yes, we can”, or “hope and change”.

I’ll let you know if any of them show up at my door with a re-education neuralizer.

This is what flag@whitehouse.gov will be used for: http://muslimsagainstsharia.blogspot.com/2009/08/mash-pamela-geller-internet-snitch.html

On August 4, 2009 a post titled “Facts Are Stubborn Things” appeared on the White House blog. It contained the following paragraph:

“There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.”

Every Fourth of July, we celebrate the Birth of the Nation. Every Fourth of August, we shall celebrate the Birth of the Internet Snitch Brigade.

How long do you think it took before the Internet Snitch Brigade expanded its reporting from something fishy about health insurance reform to Anti-American Activities? Just five days! Move over McCarthy; here comes Bill Warner. In the post titled “ASSASSINATE BARACK OBAMA PLOTS INCREASE TO 10 RACIST RIGHT WING BLOGGERS FUEL WHITE SUPREMISTS (sic.) SECRET SERVICE SHUT EM DOWN by Bill Warner investigator” Bill Warner writes:

“Articles posted on ultra right wings blogs like “Muslims Against Sharia” by Khamim Massoud such as Obama spies monitoring Jews house-to-house and Freed to Kill More American Soldiers: Taliban Thrives, Thanks to Obama Policy and “Atlas Shrugs Website” by Pamela Geller who posts articles such as “Obama backs Iraqi Terrorists: Iraq investigates alleged US-insurgent talks” are hastening the demise of Preisdent Barack Obama. … The US Secret Service so needs to investigate “Muslims Against Sharia by Khalim Massoud and Pamela Geller for her Anti-American racist activities on her website, which she operates out of her Manhattan NY apartment, and her incitement to hate by others and the possible murder of President Barack Obama.”

Yes, it only took five days to jump from snitching about dissent on health insurance reform to making up wild accusations about “incitement to hate by others and the possible murder of President Barack Obama.” A quote attributed to Joseph Goebbels, a Propaganda Minister in Nazi Germany reads:

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.”

Bill Warner may not be a good P.I. (as he claims to be) or not a good bar fighter and martial artist (as he claims to be), but he has certainly mastered the art of Nazi propaganda.

Wow. I’m totally putting this on my own blog. I find it interesting that there’s no concrete response to the charges in the email forwards, like “End-of-life counseling does not mean government-assisted suicide, it means _____ instead.” Or “the provision on page 16 of the House bill that looks like it outlaws insurance companies entirely actually means ______.”

Nope, none of that. Just jumping up and down that people are exaggerating and making things up. No clarification for you, simpleton American citizens! Just trust us!

I reported my 85-year old Republican mother to flag@whitehouse.gov and asked them to “straighten her out”. She said she was against euthanasia for the elderly in lieu of costly medical treatment.

So, when I was told to “go to he**” today by someone because we had a different opinion on the subject, do you think that is the kind of information they wanted? ;)

AWW but you havn’t seen the Obama calendar and timeline! Anyone got that one yet??? I’m sure there is one out there somewhere that extends the length of his term somehow.

What would really be awesome is if it was linked to the debt clock!

That has to be the most ridiculous video I have seen in awhile.

Really, she wants us to believe that Obama wants us to keep our health insurance? Really?

That’s not how a single-payer system works, which is what Obama has advocated for in the past.

  • Eric

    1. If they show up at your door, it will already be too late to let us know.

    2. I’m letting the White House know about this post.
