While the Almighty Obama swooped in to “save” the race fiasco with his version of holding hands and singing Kumbaya (a.k.a. beer summit), Sergeant Crowley demonstrated real class.

after-beers.jpg

Here we have a “white officer” helping a crippled “black professor”, the self-described victim of racial profiling, down some White House steps immediately following the powwow. Able to put all politics and race baiting aside, Crowley shows his true colors as a gentleman; the one who has taken the brunt of outlandish accusations, helping the very man who fueled it.

And what’s our president doing?

A picture is worth a thousand words.

I want to post a little reminder about language on the blog. I had to delete a post that contained a racial slur in this thread, and I’m sorry if anyone had to read it.

Let’s keep the punches above the belt gang.

    • Red State Eddio

Does that include calling Kaiser a Democrat-n-disguise??

      • David Kaiser, Editor

Eleven days to my wedding and that’s the treatment I get?

Who needs enemies when you have RSE!

        :>

        • Whodat

Stop! Run away! Don’t Do It! I’ve been married for 32 years; if I had only robbed a bank, I could have been out after 5 with good behavior.

At least get a “pre-nup”: “The man is king, the man is not to be disturbed when watching sports on TV, the man gets to play golf when he needs to unwind from the pressures of life. The woman cooks and cleans.”

          Just a few basic guidelines…

Whodat hopes Mrs. Whodat does not read this…

        • Red State Eddio

Are we going to get a live feed on PD? I’m imagining live-blogging also… :-)

Call Jason from his hidey-hole in Saskatchewan and see if he can rig this one up for the masses. More coverage than Brangelina.

        • JE

Congratulations, DK! Don’t let whodat scare you. Marriage is a wonderful institution…and i personally love being institutionalized!
For a long, happy marriage, just remember to frequently say those 3 little words that every woman wants to hear:
          “You’re right, dear.” :)

  • Troy La Mana

Obama is the Caligula of this country.

  • Red State Eddio

    Wow. Nice catch. Amazing…

  • JE

In addition to no jacket, notice Obama has his sleeves rolled up. Showing not only his perfect forearm physique, but the fact he has just finished more hard work. Now, the lame walk (gates) and the blind see (crowley).
Problem is, all the orchestrating in the world isn’t going to keep his lack of substance from showing.. People are getting tired of it, as whodat points out.
His followers are waiting for more miracles and more bread and fish. If he doesnt start producing they will turn on him, too. Only time will tell if the O-messiah can ressurect his approval ratings from the dead.
Sorry for bad theologic analogies, but this guy has tried to be the messiah from the word go (see ‘we are the change we have been waiting for’, etc) and is starting to pay the price.

    • Shawn Naegle

Hey, I liked those “lame walking” and “blind seeing” metaphors. They fit together quite nice.

    • kristen

People are finally noticing that The Great One does not walk on water; it’s an illusion. Thing is, he’s not using the 5 loaves and basket of fish he has; he’s stealing everyone else’s and handing them out. That’s not how Jesus operates.

(I liked the metaphors. They made me chuckle ;-) )

    • Alaina Segovia

I wonder if they have a poll that says more people like him if he rolls his sleeves up or if he just thinks it gives him the appearance of working harder.

Personally, I’m a fan of the Bush dress code.

  • Whodat

    Unbelievable! Awesome! Thank you, Kristen.

I had heard of this picture, maybe on Rush, but I had not seen it and indeed, it does tell it all.

Truly, this has become the summer of Obama’s discontent. All the metaphors apply, in fact, Obama himself is becoming the best metaphor for squandering opportunities, trust, race relations and everything else.

His minions are now facing near insurretions at town hall meetings and his enemies can now see and smell political blood, and they are moving in. With 3 1/2 years to go, his situation is becoming desperate.

Whodat loves watching revolutions upon liberals even mo than football – soon, we can watch both! Life is sweet…

    • Red State Eddio

Which will invovle more blood? At this point, it’s anyone’s guess. I love it… :-)

      • Mrs Rusty Shackleford

It’s fitting that Shark Week is starting.

    • Brian H

I’m a Texabs fan and a Republican. Getting pounded like a drum is becoming routine.

I, too, kinda enjoy watching this train wreck of an administration.

It really speaks for itself, though there are still those who make excuses for him.

  • Mrs Rusty Shackleford

I think we have missed an even larger part of the picture. In all the photo ops POTUS and VPOTUS are absent a jacket to symbolize they are the everyday Joe with the Beer Summit where as Crowley and Gates are full dress. HMMM I’ve been shaking my head over that one since the first pic.

Definitely completely orchestrated to how many breaths each one takes. You are so correct David. It is a master plan and the other party better get the head out in the sunshine and get organized and orchestrated without completely submitting to the Dark Side of the Force.

  • David Kaiser, Editor

If you don’t think it was planned that way you have a short memory.

Hate his policies, hate his politics, hate him; Obama ran a smart campaign and his people typically know how to handle a public appearance.

Obama walking him down the steps and the cop standing by looks bad for cop. The last thing they want to do right now is make the cop look bad.

That happened exactly the way they wanted it to.

    • Brian H

In fact, David. Obama’s stupid “stupidly” comment was also part of the brilliant Obama strategy. Since he knew he had zero answers during his brutal press conference on Health Care they planned the scheme to have Obama say something “stupidly” as to distract from the previous 58 minutes of bloviating. It worked. And then, to make it even smarter, they orchastrated the whole “Beer Summit” so Obam could ride in as the Whi…Bla..never mind, Knight to save the day and unite the races once again.

These guys are so slick. Gotta love the Big-O.

    • kristen

Planned? You don’t plan something like this. Now, the photo with them all sitting at the table casually drinking beers; that’s planned.

If they were really smart they would have had Obama behind the two instead of in front. This picture comes across as arrogant and elite….like he’s too important to be bothered by this. After all, Obama and Gates are supposedly pretty good friends.

No, Crowley stepped up to the plate.

    • Shawn Naegle

I agree with David. Skeptic that I am tells me this is a photo-op for the white cop and black professor to kum-ba-ya before the masses.

      • David Kaiser, Editor

        Bingo.

      • Sartho

Seems like they could have done a little better by inviting the 911 caller, pass her a nice tall glass (maybe some V8 juice) and let the Big O have someone to assist too. But whatever he thinks will help him look good I guess.

And I find it interesting Biden’s was alcohol free. Any chance he’s a former AA goer?

  • JE

What are you talking about??? Clearly Obama just wanted to be out of the way so that we could all see how he has single handedly healed the racial divide in this country. Now, will everyone please get out of the way and just let him fix our healthcare, the economy, gay rights, women’s rights, teen angst and acid reflux disease.
Where’s the posts on the ‘joker’ posters??? Will that be tomorrows picture of the day?

    • kristen

Well, he is ‘The Great Healer’. Sadly, that’s probably the line he is using to explain his arrogance here.

I’m waiting for the joker poster to pop up too. (I wasn’t going to touch that one.)

  • Brian H

Any Dem/Obama voetr have Obama fatigue yet?

  • Alaina Segovia

    This says it all…
