The economy, GM, Afghanistan, North Korea, Iran; if the flurry of problems Barack Obama has to deal with wasn’t bad enough, today the teleprompter broke. According to ABC News’ Jake Tapper “midway through his speech on urban and metropolitan policy in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building this afternoon, one of his two small glass prompters came crashing down, hitting the wood floor and crashing in many pieces. It made quite a ruckus.”

But not to worry. According to TOTUS, he is okay.

Remember how I was hoping to take the next couple of days off? Well, that hasn’t worked out so well.

My White House designated operator, Felix, clearly has to go. Today, Big Guy and I were scrolling and speaking to an interest group that supported us, and during the middle of the speech, one of my screens collapsed. Turns out Felix didn’t tighten one of my screen’s bracket rods, and one of my screens collapsed. It was kind of embarrassing, and the accident looked a lot worse than the may have seemed on video.
