I am not a big fan of the ad…

And just for perspective…i don’t really see that mccain would have done much different up to this point other than maybe he would have already “bomb bomb bomb, bomb bombed iran”. So, again, the republicans really need to find some competent leadership if they want to fix anything…but so far the ads just look like they want power, not improvement.

The add problem is it is the same old stuff. “Party in power bad. Give money to the oponent.” That is the logic that alot of people used to vote for obama, “I don’t really like him but he has to be better than bush.” That hasnt worked out so well and alot of us are truly sick of the game. Until someone in the parties want to give some solutions/answers i wish they would all shut up.

Eight months in and we are now at “he has to beter than Bush”.

      HAHAHA

Can’t wait to see where were at in another eight months….maybe will be saying he has to be better than Carter.

Brian, in think you misunderstand my comments. For those of us who have actual conversations with people outside of our own political ideology, a comment argument of the last election was that obama had to be better than bush. It was a stupid argument and the nitwit obama has already proven how dangerous that line of thinking is. The problem with this ad is it makes the same argument about obama/pelosi/reid. It is hard to imagine worse leadership but that still doesnt give a reason to vote FOR their
        opponents.
Oh and as far as carter…30 years later he was just a bad memory and we had for the most part recovered from his incompentence. I fear obama is going to be way worse than that. I have nearly given up reading the news since there are limits on how many antacids a person can safely take. See latest comment “the stimulus is working as expected”.

          I agree with you, 99%.

I am not sure Carter has done a good job of recovering from his incompentence…..

          • JE

Come on, give carter a break. He is a great world diplomat! He alone is able to certify elections in dictatorships. Plus, he is now old enough that he can claim dementia instead of incompetence.

Well, Lizzy, it’s the truth even if you don’t want to acknowledge it, the GOP under GWB was just as spend happy as BHO and the Dems are now.

    • Troy La Mana

Not quite as spend happy on this subject. 1/9th of this mess is GWB’s fault.

I will agree with you that Republicans spent like Democrats while GWB ran the show.

  • Lizzy

I’m sure everyone will historically associate bail-outs with George Bush. Nice try.

  • East of Eden

Umm…bailouts started with GWB, they didn’t quite mention that.
