SCOTUS puts the breaks on Chrysler deal

Looks like the Chrysler bankruptcy deal has had the breaks applied for now, at least. Justice Ginsburg was the one who signed the order. Very interesting, the details of this will be juicy to say the least in the next few days.

Wait a minute. The Supreme Court is supposed to hold up the constitution? You mean valid contracts, like the ones the secure debt holders had, have to actually be honored rather than paying off the UAW for its support? No. That can’t possibly be true.
You don’t get it. She put the kabosh on this deal because it didn’t pay off the UAW enough.
So do they have to approve the GM deal? If so, how was this squashed and GM not?
