May unemployment and the non-stimulus

You may remember a chart similar to this from my previous rant. As you can see, not only is the supposed “stimulus” not stimulating, it may be harming the economy by sustaining mediocrity.

    Sad. Very sad. And it doesn’t include those who have given up looking for work or are now “under” employed.

    Oh, you naysayers are so depressing. Quit looking at the data! Just close your eyes and listen to “the One”. It is getting better. There are green shoots! The world loves us again. These graphs and ‘facts’ are just being put out by racist hate mongers who want the greatest person ever to walk the planet and who we have been granted the grace to receive as president to fail. If you just drink the koolaid and kneel, the graph makes sense and you see it is really getting better.

    Facts are stubborn things. All the rosy-hope tinged glasses and TelePrompTers won’t change this nasty graph.
