    Here’s my speech:

    Barack Obama’s Inauguration Speech

My fellow Americans, today is a frightening and ominous day. You have shown the world that “hope” is not just another word for “I’m full of it”, and that “change” is not only something we can believe in again, but something we can actually fear, because I’m really going to change things – you just wait; you’ll see. he he he.

Today we celebrate, but let there be no mistake – America faces me, my socialist agenda and other frightening goals and challenges like never before. Our economy is going to tank because of these bailouts, but it’s all part of my plan to implement socialism.. Americans can barely afford their mortgages, let alone have enough money left over for political contributions. Our healthcare system is not yet controlled enough by the government, but it will be, don’t you worry. If your child is sick and you don’t have insurance, you might as well call a politican – we’re the ones that will be making the medical decisions in the future anyway; so get used to it. And America’s image overseas is tarnished like a dollar bill that has lost all of its value and will continue to do so the more I throw money at things in the name of “bailouts”. But voting on the issues against me instead of together we can right this ship, and set a course for the America we used to know and love.

Finally, I must thank my unpatriotic and overly-concerned with her appearance wife and family, my brainwashed campaign volunteers, but most of all, I want to thank the uneducated who came out to vote without researching any of the issues but voted for me because I said the word “change” a lot for making this historic occasion possible. Of course, I must also thank you, President Bush, for years of protecting the American people. Without your valiant and noble efforts, none of this would have been possible.

Except, if you actually listen to El Rushbo instead of the talking points he make sense. I don’t always agree with Rush but he is right about one thing. It’s fine to wish Obama to fail. He stands for everything that we fight against. You just better be prepared to give an alternative plan that is pure Conservative. If you continue along that path you build a consensus one brick at a time until the Mid-Terms. Then you can point out where if your plan was followed we wouldn’t be in the mess we are in now. This makes it easier for the voter to turn their back on the Obamanation.

Since the point of this seemed to be more for entainment purposes rather than whatever Tobias interpreted as, I gave it a shot.

My speech started moving beyond the PG rating when I hit, “But sleeping together we can right this ship, and set a course for Jamaica.”

    Oops.

I think that was an excerpt from a Bill Clinton speech Sartho.

It very well may have been. :)

I think it might be time for Republicans to deal with their own issues, and deal with The One Rush Limbaugh, their anointed Messiah, instead of joining him in making stupid attacks on a popular President that are only hurting the party.

Or, you know, keep following Rush. It’s going so well thus far.

I always smile when I successfully bait you out of the bushes, Toby ;-)

And parabens for reading the Rahm Talking Points today!

      1. Every day Rush reminds listeners he doesn’t speak for Republicans, but conservatives.

      2. Our Messiah is President Ronald Reagan.

      3. Al Franken will soon be a U.S. Senator. I realize #3 is somewhat unrelated, but it is equally maniacal as this notion that we conservatives look to Rush Limbaugh for leadership and not entertainment.

Actually my Messiah is — well — the Messiah ;-)
