After all, no one is likely to notice.

For those of you who sat through the 60 minutes or so of Obama’s empty promises to America the other night, you probably heard his arrogant slight towards Bush about ‘inheriting’ a bad deficit. Pompousness aside, Obama promises to actually cut the deficit in half by the year 2013. Well, that shouldn’t be too hard to do when you’re the one more than doubling it in the first place.

Interesting how the line in 2009 is 4x that of 2008…..or ever!!

But, it’s all going to a good cause, right?

Wrong.

Not only did we hear an empty promise of economic ‘stimulus’, but we were also told the complete lie that there was not one earmark in the entire bill. Hmmm. Many sources have counted about 9,000.

Sean Hannity has found some of the more productive and meaningful ways our tax dollars will be going to good use:

$150K for Idaho Historic Theater

$2 Mil for astronomy promotion in Hawaii

$400K for teacher training to combat bullying

$200K for tattoo removal

$800K for catfish genetics in Alabama

$2 Mil for swine odor and manure management

$2 Mil for buildings for grape genetics (that’s right–grape genetics), by the one and only Chuck Schumer

$300K in shellfish technologies

$500K for a fruit fly facility in Hawaii

$59 Mil for Pacific Salmon research

And the list goes on. I don’t know about you, but promoting astronomy and managing odor sure top my priority list.

I find it laughable that the Obama-Pelosi-Reid gang criticize the ‘inherited deficit’ from Bush. Yet here they are about to spend an unprecedented 3.7 trillion dollars at the drop of a hat. Perhaps the Obama administration needs a refresher course on how to read graphs, because according to the above chart, the deficit will more than quadruple by the end of the year.
