Get over it!

To Speaker Pelosi, Democrats, and Liberals — GET OVER IT!!! Bush is leaving office, let him go in peace.

Nancy Pelosi told Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday that she is open to the prosecution of Bush Administration officials. She said:

I think you look at each item and see what is a violation of the law and do we even have a right to ignore it.

Congress voted to go to war. Yes, I realize Congress was under Republican control at that time, but that doesn’t make it illegal. Get over it!

Speaker Pelosi, we haven’t even found the bottom of what history may show as the worst economic downturn ever and you want to spend the House’s time and money investigating a war that started almost six years ago? Just because you don’t agree with it, doesn’t make it illegal. Focus on the economy and make sure your people don’t stick things in our economic stimulus bill for things like mob museums and race tracks.

Representative John Conyers, Democrat from Michigan, has called for:

An independent probe into whether any laws were broken in connection with these activities [taking the nation to war against Iraq and instituting aggressive anti-terror initiatives].

President Bush’s anti-terror initiatives have kept us safe for 7 years, 4 months, and 8 days. You don’t even have to say ‘Thank you’. He did it because he believed it was the right thing to do to keep our country safe.

Rep. Conyers, your state is in shambles over the economy and the utter failure of the Big 3 automakers. Why don’t you focus on helping your constituents and helping the automakers renegotiate with the unions so they can reduce their operating expenses and actually make a profit?

To all of you Democrats and Liberals out there who think Bush and his administration should be prosecuted, you weren’t in Bush’s daily security meetings. None of us have any idea what was really going on and how many attacks he and his administration saved us from. We do know he saved us from at least fourteen attacks. Just be thankful that we haven’t been attacked since 9/11 and one of your own is being inaugurated into the White House tomorrow.
