Last night’s Obamercial ratings are in
Posted on October 30th, 2008 at 3:31 pm by Jason Wright, EditorAccording to preliminary ratings numbers from the networks, more than 26 million people watched the program on CBS, NBC or Fox. That’s 3 million more than usually watch those networks at that hour, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Averaging in the cable networks that also carried the event, about 30 million people in all saw the long-form campaign ad.
Really? 26 million? Who are you people? Are you really undecided? If you’re pro-Obama, didn’t you have anything better to do? If you’re on the fence, did you really learn anything new? At this point in the Year of Barack I shouldn’t be surprised by anything, yet here I sit in awe of these numbers.
And congrats to our winner:

I’ll guess about 30 million, give or take a few. From all the press he gets, I am sure there are enough “interested” people who want to hear the “Gospel of Obama.” Thank goodness there isn’t anything worth watching at that time, or I’d be unhappy.
Donna, drop me a note and I’ll have your book personalized and sent your way.

http://www.thrfeed.com says:
“Obama’s 30-minute primetime infomercial was seen by 33.6 million viewers across seven networks — including CBS, NBC, Fox, Univision, MSNBC, BET and TV One.”
WOW! What a draw. They’re sure to ask Senator Obama to be on Dancing with the Stars next season.
I just stayed with Fox News.
I would not know anyone who watched.
I do want to pass on this observation for what it is worth: I have never seen so many yard signs, 90% of them being McCain-Palin as I am seeing now. Yes, my area is normally about 2 to 1 Republican, but most are very quiet and say little about it. This year, they are shouting! I wonder if that portends some trend…
I wonder if this infomercial will backfire on TheOne?
Seems it might be with the race closing to within 3 points.
He is not “TheOne”, he is “That-One”.
