Walking into the grocery store Sat. I walked past the little old ladies handing out McCain literature & info on the Palin rallies held on Mon. here in VA. An older black gentleman asked for as many pamphlets as he could get. The lady told him she wouldn't give them to him because he was going to throw them away. When he asked why he'd throw them away, she said, "Because you're going to vote for Obama!" I could hear him from 30 yds. away shout, "I am NOT VOTING for that...BARACK OBAMA!"

I am not sure who to feel most sorry for. However, the irony is--the white woman and black guy are both voting for the same white guy and everyone is giving us crap because they think we are both racist!

There are people at Obama rallies that believes things that are blatanly false...

-Obama will give 95% of Americans a tax cut when we know 40% don't even pay taxes.

-98% of small business will not be part of the 250K that has their tax increases. When, in reality, he counts people that report income from part time hobbies (for selling trinkets on EBay for example) the same as a homebuilder that employees 100 people.

-Obama had no association with ACORN when their is documentation proving he has given them over $1 million and trained their volunteers, which by the way was during the time when they were pressuring banks to give sub-prime loans to uncreditworthy people... which is the underlying cause of our current economic crisis

-Ayers was 'just a guy in the neighborhood' when the served with him on several boards and was employed by him

-He never heard Rev. Wright say anything racist or anti-America... oh, wait... that was before he admitted he may have heard something like that a couple of times

-He's pro-choice, but forgets to tell people that he voted for leaving babies on the table to die who were born alive after an attempted abortion

-He faile to mention that he's planning to raise the social security/Medicare tax rate from 2.9% to 15.3%

Shall I keep going?

While I don't agree with the notion that they are racist, I do agree that many have not gotten the right or correct information about Barack Obama. As I have said before and we have seen at McCain rallies, there are people who believes things that are blatantly false. Some people believe he is an arab muslim socialist, who was not born in America, has radical mentor named Bill Ayers who is still bombing today, and a manchurian candidate who seeks to destroy America. All of things would be ridiculous to suggest toward any other candidate for this office.

So, what is Alter calling the people who vote for Obama, because he is black? Are they high information voters, or just as bad as the people who won't vote because he's black? I wonder?!

Well, I'd wave my confederate flag hanging in my truck and belch out a rebel yell, but my gun rack's in the way and my KKK robe is hanging from the truck ceiling so I can wear it on Tuesday night at the rally.

Slavery is not "enshrined" in our constitution, in fact it is not mentioned one time in the document.

-Another McCain supporting racist.

How about if we took the same phrase: "the critical I-4 corridor near Tampa and in the Panhandle, where the astonishing Republican margins among whites could be attributed only to race."

and changed it just a little: "the critical I-95 corridor near NEWARK and in PHILADELPHIA, where the astonishing DEMOCRAT margins among BLACKS could be attributed only to race."

Now then, is one mo' (more) or less racist than the other?

Whodat is mostly concerned with the color GREEN and keeping as much of it as possible...

Am I supposed to feel scared or guilty at the prospect of being called a racist? This is so stupid.

I don't know anyone who thinks the color of a man's skin disqualifies him from being President. Oh, I know plenty of people who are prejudiced about different ethnic groups (regardless of skin color). Now, I won't defend prejudice, but if people looked at the color of Obama's skin and thought, "Oh, he's an anti-white, anti-rich, anti-suburb, anti-rural, anti-business, take from the have's and give to the have-not's type, would they really have jumped to the wrong conclusion? (Again, shame on them for prejudice, but did it mislead them?)

This kind of an article is merely a set-up to explain away any possibility of an Obama loss. I cannot account for everyone in FL, or VA, or even in my own OH, but I am white and I am not a racist, and I would thank others to resist telling me my own motivations.
