It's exactly the sort of logic the Left has been screaming against when it came out from the Bush administration. And while I'm conservative (or at least, I used to use that term before Bush distorted it almost beyond recognition), I do not think this is or was good logic or reasoning for the Bush administration to use and it isn't any good for Obama either. Basically, this all goes to show the hypocrisy of the Left. They don't hate that the president has that kind of power (as I do); they just hate that it hasn't been their guy who has that power.
