Ok. I should just end it there and let this be an open thread. But, nah!

According to The Telegraph Obama’s long lost brother, George Hussein Onyango Obama has been found. He lives in the outskirts of Nairobi and makes less than a dollar a month.

Mr Obama, 26, the youngest of the presidential candidate’s half-brothers, spoke for the first time about his life, which could not be more different than that of the Democratic contender.

The Illinois senator mentions his brother in his autobiography, describing him in just one passing paragraph as a “beautiful boy with a rounded head”.

If you were running for President of the United States, and had a brother living in severe poverty, wouldn’t you intervene? If not out of the goodness of your heart, then for purely political reasons, wouldn’t you do something?

This is like the gift that keeps on giving.

First “their out of sight out of mind” Cindy McCain (the post below) and her being an only child with living but non-existant sisters, now “dollar a day” George Hussein Onyango Obama.

I’ve just emailed one of the top reality show producers in America, strongly suggesting he immediatly locate the non-existant Cindy sisters and Barack’s brother and create a version of that reality show in which various people live in a house together for a period of time.

Since it requires at least 6 residents of that house for the show to properly work, I suggested in the email that the realty show producer also get Roger Clinton (assuming he is still alive) and GW Bush’s always interesting brother Marvin to be housemates number four and five respectively.

Yes, that still leaves housemate number six. I’ve suggested that be Flavor Flave, the man who wears the large clocks around his neck, along with being a reality show star in his own right.

This will not only add comedic flair to the show but create much intensity among the political siblings in terms of competition for the affection of the non-existant sisters of Cindy. After all, Flav–like Marvin Bush–is a well-known babe magnet.

This show could start right after Labor Day (when the campaing really kicks off) and run right up until the night before the November election.

I couldn’t think of a good name for the show though. Any suggestions?

You would think that “Hope and Change” would begin at home for Obama…I guess not.

So, this is the candidate that wants to redistribute wealth and equalize everyone’s piece of pie, but he can’t do so with his towards his own flesh and blood?

“his two metre by three metre shack is decorated with football posters of the Italian football giants AC Milan and Inter…”

Well, at least George has good tastes in soccer clubs.

Yeah, but a dollar a day there is like…The hourly salary at Wal-Mart in the U.S.

Perspective is important in these matters.

Much like the Cindy McCain situation, maybe there’s some family dynamic that isn’t clear from the outside.

The main difference is that Cindy’s half-sister is safely living in America and is just greedy and envious of the Cindy McCain.

George here doesn’t seem like he’s in a good place right now. I’m not going to judge Barack for not helping him, but somebody should help him.

Maybe the news agency that spent the money to hunt him down will come up with the compassion to relieve him from his poverty…but probably not. Which only goes to show that people are more interested in a story than the fact that this man is suffering. Truly sad…

Reporter: Senator McCain, how many houses do you and Cindy own.

John McCain: Don’t know. Will have to get back to you on that.

Its about 10, enough for each of the non-sisters of Cindy to have one; to give one to Gearge Obama, and still have 7 or so left over.

McCain’s let them eat cake moment. Will the press pick up on this as they would if it was Obama who made such a statement?

And Obama couldn’t afford to get George his own house with the $4,000,000.00 (Four Million) he made last year, please.

I may be a populist who believes in the empowerment of the middle class, but believe it or not…I don’t hate the rich.

I hate elitism, and despite the Obama campaign’s latest rhetoric, he’s still the more elitist of the two.

As far as houses are concerned, at least McCain got his legally. —–> http://www.obamarezkoshadydeal.com/

Now I will tell you Brian one of McCain’s mistakes at Saddleback “$5 Million to be rich”? He shouldn’t have been so outlandish about it, and if he was going to be, he should have said 4 Million (Obama’s income). That was a mistake, all McCain needs to do is paint himself as yes, a blessed individual (used those words), but that he cares about the issues that Americans face everday and that he will work tirelessly to help American families and create opprotunities for average Americans.

Let me clean up that last paragraph:

I had mentioned to Brian H, that McCain made some mistakes at The Saddleback Civil Forum. At the time, I didn’t wish to reveal what I thought those mistakes were.

However, one of them has become clear in light of today’s housing controversy. John McCain shouldn’t have said that you had to make 5 Million dollars a year in order to be rich. That statement allows the Dem’s to claim that McCain is elitist and portray him as out of touch with American families.

If he was going to state such an outlandish number, he should have stated that the number was 4 Million dollars instead (considering that’s how much Obama made last year).

In order to combat this new claim of elitism, McCain must show that he is still the more humble of the two candidates. He should stress the fact that he and Cindy have been “blessed”. He should also push the idea that he understands Americans are struggling and that as President he “will work to provide relief for American families and create new opportunities for struggling Americans”.

When the article mentioned George’s mom was named Jael, I thought how much that could be related to Michelle if she became first lady. Jael in the Old Testament was the lovely young lady who nailed a guy’s head to the ground with a tent spike while he slept. For some reason, I can picture Michelle’s inner beast coming out in the while house and taking it to whoever she could. She is a lawyer after all. (That’s how I also pictured Hillary as pres if she would have made it.) Maybe I just have a semi-twisted perspective.

Why no one ask if this story is true?

Why do they publish only one picture without a clear face of that guy?

They could put anyone there on picture, and invent the whole story.

That person who took the picture, and interviewed Georges, wasn’t allowed to take better shots?

McCain’s camp seems to try to distract our attention from Cindy’s sisters… That won’t do !
