Murdoch predicts landslide victory for Obama
Posted on May 29th, 2008 at 3:08 pm by Ethan BoivieRupert Murdoch, new US citizen, and trumpeter of Fox News, declared that Barack Obama would easily defeat John McCain this November. Stating since that the population has become less and less pleased with the Republican administration, and that since John McCain has been too long in the Senate to any longer stand for anything, he predicted that Obama would become the next president. Murdoch even hinted that he might vote for Obama. No truth to the rumor that Al Franken is expected to announce his support for McCain.

The GOP brand may be tattered (thanks to W), the alternative brand isn’t offering a product that 51% of the voters care to purchase.
And, after the convention floor fight, what’s left of the Democratic Party won’t matter anyway.
McCain represents a yet undefined third rail of voters who are certainly not left flaming progressives, nor are they goose stepping neocons - rather the mainstream is something slightly to the left of the center line - exactly bang on the spot McCain has been nearly all his political life.
As for Rupert? I wish he’d put his $$ where is mouth is and offer folks like me a million bucks if we’re right and he’s not.
IF Rupert Murdock does say he WILL vote for Obama, watch that sock puppet Hannity start giving Obama props on his H&C show. Maybe even touching Holmes ever so gently on the arm.
Watch Bill O announce he has always been an independent and has been leaning towards voting for Obama for some time. He might even buy MSNBC’s Olberman lunch. They both are sure tall drinks of water by the way.
Watch Brit Hume smile whenever he says the name Obama instead of scowling. That’s true, he always looks like that.
Watch Freddy ‘The Beatle’ Barnes announce it’s time to go back to being a left wing Liberal, which he was for most of his life until the Op-Ed business for Liberals died out when Ronald Reagan was elected and Fred suddenly became a born again conservative.
Watch sidekick Mort K. do nothing different. What day is it Mort? Do you wear a watch?
Watch Fox News start bringing up “The Age” issue regarding Mccain if Rupert does go Obama. There will be an investigative report about McCain’s wife cornering the motorized scooter market, rumors of intraveneous Viagra drips in the family bedroom, reports from “good sources” that McCain is secretly getting new teeth made–for the second time, and more.
Watch Julie Banderous star in a “Hot for Obama” video, ticking off the original Obama girl.
Watch Mike Wallace’s son Chris defend McCain on the age issue, despite Rupert’s going Obama, saying…”My Dad Mike is 126 and is still working part time on 60-minutes after all. McCain’s 5o-plus years younger than ‘Dad,’ he can be President sure enough.
Watch Fox and Friends morph into the “Wayans Brothers and Friends” featuring members of the pro-Obama show business family every morning at dawn.
Will be interesting to see what Rupert does. Stay tuned.
Fox News is #1 for the 77th straight month. Whatever scenario plays out I can assure you people will be watching.
Can someone please ask Jason what his boss, or at least former/sometimes boss (I’m not sure who owns PD), what’s going on. What’s up with this? I thought this guy had our back? Or is he just another businessman who follows money and power? (purposefully not mentioning who you all know I want to mention)
Did Murdoch support Hillary over Rudy for President in the beginning? I saw Bob Beckel say Obama will beat McCain by 150 electoral votes!! What are these people drinking??
If Obama wins then the Secretary of State will be Jessie Jackson, with Madam Hillary at Health & Human Services, with alol the Democrats at the Treasury Dept spending our money!!
Whether or not you like McCain he’s better than Obama Mr. Empty Suit!!!!
