More good times at Obama’s church from Michael Pfleger
Posted on May 29th, 2008 at 8:35 pm by PD AdministratorNow that this racist clown’s name is becoming well-known, how many other videos will surface? And will Obama once again say he was never in attendance when this “good friend” of Trinity did his thing?

So, does the guy think he’s black?
I don’t see how people consider this a religion. Talk about divisiveness. And I though Obama bragged about his ability to reach out within and across party lines…..
I have a question specifically for Toby, what’s up with this church? When did the Gospel of the saving and redeeming power of Jesus Christ turn into “liberating” the black man from his obvious white “oppressors”? Granted I’m still young, but I can’t think of a single time when I “kept the black man down”. In fact, I have many African American friends. It seems that black liberation theology is nothing more than racism, and it’s about time for Barack Obama to find a new church.
AndDru, just wait ’till you group up and are forced to go through multi cultural awareness indoctrination. The MCAW 3 day session I was forced to attend was a platform for Blacks, Asians, Hispanics, women and gays to openly bash straight, white men. Racism and other discrimination is alive and well thanks in part to those who don’t want it to go away. Because, if it did, they would have to acknowledge that they alone are responsible for their own lives, their own mistakes, etc. No, as long as they can keep this argument alive, they have someone else who they can blame. Very sad…
BTW, this is not a general statement against all who fit into those groups. I believe it is a minority who want to keep the supposed battle going.
When did they release the sequal to “Mailbu’s Most Wanted”?
Don’t be hatin
That Trinity Church is a real hoot. I wonder if Pflegar rubbed the tree stump before he began his act.
That was a fuuny act, I agree. But fuuny enough to fall out my chair?
Certainly a fair question to ask,
“How many more of these clowns to come?”
But, I suspect, with the election of
Obama, there will be dozens and then some!
See, people naturally move toward cameras
And thus, to their own 15 minutes of fame.
So, Obama’s high visibility is creating
The stage, the opportunity, albeit so lame.
Can you imagine 4 years of empowered and
Press-encouraged racist ranting an’ raving?
Can you imagine the divisivness speech and
All the “me-too’s” and kids mimmicking this behavin’?
Whodat thinks the worst is yet to come
Man, I love to read Whodat’s posts!
You the man!
Sincere thanks and best regards,
Whodat don’t have many friends and so appreciates kind words immeasurably
Did he rub “the tree stump before he began his act?” Hilarious.
Honestly, though. What is the big deal here? Is it not conventional wisdom that Hillary Clinton has 1) race-baited throughout her campaign, and 2) felt a deep sense of entitlement to the presidency. After all, her campaign was throwing around the term “the inevitable nominee” up until her loss in Iowa.
I agree that the racial tones of Trinity are a bit much for even my Southern palette. But are “we” outraged because this white Catholic man has “sold-out” to some degree? That he seems to be a white man who has bought into a pro-black accusatory doctrine of racial discrinimation?
Where’s the real outrage here?
The real outrage is that most congregations in America are SEGREGATED by choice. When you lack of diversity in your congregation, your conversations and sermons are only going to cater to a particular viewpoint.
Can we please quit point fingers and act like all churches in America are passing the race test. Perhaps we should stop calling Trinity and the folks there racist lunatics and explore why the races aren’t coming together on Sunday. Martin Luther King, Jr. was right when he said that Sunday is the most segregated hour in America.
Unfortunately, he said that 40 years ago and it still rings true.
Selah.
I don’t understand how anyone could believe this kind of preaching makes matters better. To whom was he preaching, anyway? All the white people in the crowd? I don’t know the man, but “preaching to the choir” is not a descriptor of courage. Show me a video of him saying this to a white crowd and I would still disagree, but I would at least grant a little respect.
THE POINT: If churches are going to be segregated (I would rather them not be), then they need to preach and teach the responsibilities of THEIR OWN congregation. Even if he is right, how does dragging down others help the people of Trinity in their spiritual lives? I doesn’t. So it was just an entertaining show.
POLITICAL BRIDGE: Same thing goes for republicans and democrats (but it’s OK for them to be separated). Spend more time making your own party better and less time preaching to each other about how bad the other party is. Preaching to the choir is an entertaining show, but accomplishes little growth.
where’s our token obama supporter when we need him to pipe up?
Is it Church or is it Imprav?
Pretty good comedy act, pretty lousy Christianity.
Just think, over 20 years how many times Obama sat in the front rows laughing his tail off at this priest’s sermons.
