Til the End of Time
Posted on May 8th, 2008 at 7:53 am by Contributor ArchiveSo Hillary Clinton took Indiana in the primaries last night. Big deal. As everyone knows, she plans on staying in the race for a very long time. Not until June. Not until the convention. But forever. Hillary Clinton is going to stay in the race forever.
Will she go down in history as the first president to be female? No. She will go down in history as the first presidential candidate to achieve immortality.
Like everyone else under the age of – let’s be honest – 93, I’m pretty burned out by this entire race. Several months ago, I would have enjoyed watching the primary returns on CNN. Last night however, instead of watching the returns for Indiana and North Carolina, I thought I would have a movie marathon instead. I just need to do something that has nothing to do with politics whatsoever. A movie marathon should get my mind off this never ending race!
The following is a list of some of the movies I ended up watching, trying to get my mind off the race and Hillary Clinton in particular:
* Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, the 2003 movie about a cyborg who just can’t seem to die or go away.
* Interview with a Vampire, the 1994 movie about a vampire who just can’t seem to die or go away.
* Nightmare on Elm Street, the 1984 movie about a serial killer who just can’t seem to die or go away.
* I then decided to take a break and play my favorite computer game, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, a game about an international thief who just can’t seem to die or go away.
Dammit. Mission not accomplished.

I protest! I disagree!
Your words and thoughts are wrong to me!
First, in watching sports, we scorn our
Teams who are behind and just seem to quit;
We want to see them fight for pride and
Our side until the gun’s fire says, “That’s it!”
Hillary, the liberal, would never get my vote,
But, my respect she has certainly secured.
To be so humiliated by Bill, but hold up, then
Come back to where she is, respect she has secured.
Plus, fighters and winners, in general are
Built in ways most of us are not made.
They are stronger, more determined, more
Self-assured, so giving up is longer delayed.
And, in my more base parochial mode,
Let her continue, may she land more blows
Upon Obama’s head and crotch and record:
Might just help us in November, who knows?
Whodat
Lets be honest. Hillary is obsessed with her position/power. Desiring to succeed and even obsessing on some level is the mark of a fighter. When obsession causes you to behave in ways that harm those around you and yourself, it is (by definition) a psychiatric illness. She is starting to look as if her next advisor will be Dr. Phil for an intervention.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day is by far the BEST of the Terminator movies.
As far as the nomination goes, let her keep running. We all have the freedom to make fools out ourselves, so why should we take away her opportunity for the same?
I found this article today on the 5 mistakes Hill’s campaign made:

I thought it was very interesting. For what it’s worth, I hope she presses on, her fans/supporters deserve it, I know it’s a lost cause, but it’s sure has made this election interesting to say the least!
It could be worse. You could be watching “High School Musical” (both 1 & 2) with your kids every night on DVD. Talk about not going away…
