I always say, don't listen to what the candidate is saying now. Go by what that candidate said in the last 5-10 years if you really want to know how they think.

The key words in your post are "default setting". His fundamental impulses, his natural instinctual tendencies, his knee-jerk reflezes all reveal a man who is as liberal as liberal can be, and who has many of the elitist issues that many liberal "stars" and leaders have with most of "main street" America. At heart, he is an elitist liberal.

And here's the kicker--perceptually, its the R's and the rich who are supposed to be elitists, NOT the Dems. They're supposed to be the man/woman of the people; yet they go to Yale & Harvard, have huge homes and cars, perks galore, and make $109 million in just 7 years.

WHO'S THE HYPOCRITE??

Go back to the 2000 and 2004 elections and look at the political scoring (red or blue) according to geography by county across the US (I know RCP had something like that long time ago). Both times, Bush won OUTSIDE of all the major cities--the small town and rural people that Obama just offended. And Bush won by over 7 million votes in '04.

Does that shake the Dems to realize he's just offended the majority of the people of the USA?

No surprise this guy was voted most liberal Senator of 2007.

I say, keep talking Obama; keep sticking that foot in your mouth. Seriously, between he, his wife, and his pastor, he's on the road to offending every single person in this country.
