Earlier today, our editor Jason Wright sent out the following email from a cabin deep in the West Virginia mountains (no, really, that’s where he is).

Looking for New Editor

The Derby Wire
March 19, 2008

Fine, so that’s not entirely true, but this is politics, where truth (and marriage fidelity) is apparently optional. So like the rest of the political world, we spitzer in the face of honesty.

No, we’re not looking for a new permanent Editor, but we are looking for an Editor for a day. Intrigued? Read on young whippersnappers.

The gang at PoliticalDerby.com invites you to join ESPN’s March Madness and compete in a pool with other Derby fans for bragging rights and the best prize we’ve ever offered.

For the first time ever, we’re going to name a Guest Editor for the Day.

The winner of this year’s March Madness pool will take over editing duties for 24 hours. The winner will be able to post whatever they like (obvious standards apply), choose the picture of the day, adjust the Power Rankings, run an ad, and answer the hate mail. What a thrill!

Entering is simple. Just go to ESPN’s Tournament Challenge page:

Click the link to sign up with ESPN and create an entry. It’s free and only takes a few seconds.

Join the group: PoliticalDerby.com

The password is: 2008

Don’t wait! Entries lock at the start of the 1st game on Thursday, March 20th, 2008.

Best of luck! We’ll announce the winner in another edition two weeks from now.

See you ’round the racetrack.
