The Potomac primaries produced positive results for both Barack Obama and John McCain tonight, though the meaning for each candidate is not the same.

The McCain sweep tonight, especially after early results had him trailing in Virginia, have all but made him the GOP nominee.

Obama on the other hand has now won the last seven contests run and may have just secured himself a title that virtually no one but Hillary has had since the start of the race for the White House for the Democrats:


It’s hard not to call him that, considering his string of victories and the upheaval in the Clinton campaign. Just days after the supposed self-demotion of her campaign manager, Clinton deputy campaign manager Mike Henry resigned tonight.

The leaks are starting to sprout all over the Clinton campaign, and one has to wonder if she can survive the latest series of defeats. She rebounded from Iowa well, but after splitting Tsunami Tuesday, she has fallen on her face.
