Jason, get on that Fox show RedEye, comes on about midnight out west. Will watch for sure then.

Also, it’s actually the one real “Fair and Balanced” show on the network. Not that I care if they are F&B, they just shouldn’t say they are.

All kidding aside, you should do that RedEye gig if you can get on. Good PR for the site.

Todd: Huckaboom is scheduled to speak at the “Recovering God in America” conference in FL on Jan 21 & 22nd. “Sleepy” Fred is also scheduled to be there, as well as Newt Gingrich. It is a conference designed and intended for pastors, but from what I understand, anyone can sign up for a live webcast for free.

They make the disclaimer that “This Pastor’s Conference is not a political event. It is a spiritual event designed to help pastors as they address the declining morals and loss of religious freedom. Participants are not allowed to ask for endorsements or promote any political candidate.”

But you know to get face time with that many religious and evangelical leaders is saying something.

Todd: I’m not sure I agree. I think Huckabee has given some “speeches” in churches. (cloaked as sermons, of course) They can make their case in church, but the church can’t endorse them. At least not if they want to keep their non-profit tax status.

Whodat: That’s the love I get for welcoming you back? You’d be stunned how many people watch at that early hour. They’re the #1 cable morning show by a mile.

Jason, Please answer a question for me. I heard Barak Obama speak at a church today in Las Vegas (CNN carried a major excerpt live) and it was entirely political. He called out Hillary on stuff etc. etc. If Huckabee gave a political speech from a church, everyone would be yelping. Why the double standard?
