The Washington Post tracked down John Edwards’ hair stylist for an expose. We think the story would be the usual political claptrap if it weren’t for this little tidbit:

Torrenueva said one haircut during the 2004 presidential race cost $1,250 because he traveled to Atlanta and lost two days of work.

“[T]raveled to Atlanta” from Beverly Hills! Edwards’ whole image is of the populist everyman hammering the haves and helping the have-nots. A dumb strategy considering he’s lived his whole life on the wrong end of that equation, flying in hairdressers and such.

Some of us at FFC have said that Edwards’ is clearly the most dangerous candidate because he flatly denies the war on terror and supports policies that would crush our economy. Luckily he doesn’t stand a chance to win and neither Mr. Milquetoast or Billary are likely to put him on the ticket if they win.
