Fred Thompson for President

Fred is in! He will form an exploratory committee by June 4th with an official announcement in July.

Fred Dalton Thompson is planning to enter the presidential race over the Fourth of July holiday, announcing that week that he has already raised several million dollars and is being backed by insiders from the past three Republican administrations, Thompson advisers told The Politico.

    All I can say for sure is that things are going to get interesting. How well will Thompson actually do? Can he win over the conservative base? How will he effect the rest of the GOP field? This is a political junky’s dream, folks.
