MyFox Chicago has an online segment on the burgeoning presence of hate groups in the South and the possible motivation behind Barack Obama’s recent secret service appointment.

The Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan provides a statement in the video, reinforcing what I consider to be the popular sentiment towards the group: It’s mostly a laughable attempt by old, white men with goofy-looking facial hair to feel influential about something.

I really hate the idea that we still have to live with morons that can’t, in the words of the great Martin Luther King, judge someone by the content of their character as opposed the to the color of their skin. I can’t tell you if Barak Obama would make a good president or not, I can tell you that the color of his skin doesn’t play a role in that issue.
