According to Students for Gravel, an online forum for all three students that know that Mike Gravel is running for president, the former senator from Alaska will be appearing on the Colbert Report tomorrow, May 2nd.

Mike Huckabee appeared on the Report last Monday and seemed, well, not funny. It’s hard to know how to approach an interview with Stephen Colbert. Do you try to hammer home an idea? Huckabee kept reiterating the fact that he was authentic — on a satirical political show hosted by a parody conservative.

It seems like the most effective tactic would be to simply stay casual, avoid articulating any sophisticated political arguments, and let Stephen take charge of the conversation. At least that way you don’t risk getting nailed.
